Driver for Windows 11 / Windows 10 / Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows XP / Windows Vista (as a setup executable) This is a single driver for both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows versions. Download the file to a folder of your choice and double-click on setup.exe to install the drivers.

Please run the installation after downloading as Admin (Run As Admin) so that you have permissions to install the drivers into the registry. Else contact your MIS/IT manager with permissions before installing.

If you are using 64 bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7 and are experiencing problems recognizing the load cells/interfaces, please reinstall the drivers and make sure COM ports are assigned and show up in the device manager.

The latest drivers for Windows as well as other operating systems, including Windows CE, Linux and Mac OS are available here from the manufacturer. Please check here for the latest versions and try it out before contacting us at suppport@loadstarsensors.com

Some earlier models of iLoad Series load cells shipped prior to 2009 need a driver (from Microchip Corporation) that may be available here. This driver is compatible with Windows XP 32 bit and Windows Vista 32 bit computers only. It is not compatible with 64 bit versions of Windows XP, Vista or any version of Windows 7. (If you have any of these load cells, they cannot be supported any more and need to be replaced. Please contact sales to purchase newer versions at a discounted price).

Simply download the zip file and extract the contents to a separate folder. When the load cell is connected, Windows will ask for the driver. Simply point to the .INF file in this folder.
